What doo you think we could do to encourage the deomcracy movement in Iraq? The information you report is unlikely to make it to mainstream partisan media.

Isnt that pretty much what President Bush has done to date? If Iraq has anywhere NEAR a successful election wont that also encourage the freedom seeking Iranians? jdn

In the interview with O'Reilly, the President said as much the same thing about Iran. Twice he was pressed and twice President Bush refused to say what military action he would take if forced to in Iran..He just said, "Let's give diplomacy a chance first."

I wish I could think of the name of the documentary that I watched on Iran about six months ago. It was very revealing, and showed just,, just as you said, the people are sick of the government's total control on their lives.

I hate the loss of any life in Iraq. BUT , we have an opportunity here to help change the direction of the whole Middle East. IMO, every soldier to a man has been wounded or that has died, has done so with a purpose and a very noble purpose.

Kerry is not the man to lead us in this effort.

I hope if Afghanistan and Iraq are successful, we see dominos fall in the ME of corrupt dicatorships. Saudi Arabia and Iran are two I hope go first, though admittedly this would probably throw world markets into a tailspin whenever it happens, as they control the oil.
