Bush was told and warned repeatedly about what to expect in post-Saddam Iraq. He was told, by governmental and non-governmental groups. The State Department told him, the aftermath would be the real war. But he decided to ignore that. He choose the ideological rantings of his supporters over the concrete data of the experts, like he has with every other issue facing our nation. His decision has led directly to the deaths of over 1,000 servicemen and a countless amount of Iraqi citizens.
George Bush Let Our Soldiers Die
The duplicity and high crimes continue to this day, as he refuses to do anything significant to provide an exit strategy from Iraq, with all important decisions pushed beyond the presidential elections. It's George Bush's ambitions first, the lives of Americans second.
