lorne-- since Kerry in the '70s the US has been afraid to be politically incorrect. Why? Is a plane safer searching a 85 year old grandmother or a 20s something man of ME extraction. Profiling-- it will come at the cost of how many more bodys? There was far from enough investigation on OK bombings, all the embassy bombings, the Cole, etc. Most of all there was not a strong message sent until GW. GW said-- 'it ends now', while Kerry says of terrorism in the US 'bring it on'. What Kerry originally asked GW to 'bring on' came on,, and now he has shut up on that too.
