Peter-- the '90s matter to Kerry as HE held senate hearings where he destroyed evidence and lied in order to attempt to flush the POW issue. It did not work. What DID work is he was able to see his cousin received hundreds of millions in contracts from the Viets. That most likely is HIS retirement package.

It's 2004 and Bush has lost the Iraq War and lied about it.
If you want to vote to promote the Vietnam War and claim it should not have been ended, go ahead. That makes you an ignorant far rightwing radical ignoring the facts. If you want to support three smear campaigns in a row by Bush against Silver Star winning war heros, go ahead. But AWOL Bush is the one who lied and lost the war in Iraq making AL Qaida stronger in the process.
