You chose the metaphor. It is much stronger than I would normally employ, but:
Only a complete fool believes that the situation is static. Only a complete fool believes the Chinese are not developing better delivery systems and better nukes. Why do you think they wanted all of the nuclear secrets that Clinton gave them? Why do you think the Chinese wanted him re-elected so badly?
