Kudos to both you and CB, M~!! In one sense, you are right about we are all irrelevant, just like you and me.

Far away events don't really affect us, UNTIL we feel the effects close up, when someone on the other end has pushed their end of the string.

Then, it becomes a matter of what do we do about it, and how.
