Then they'd start complaining that there wasn't enough to do, so they'd have to build a movie theater, and roads to get to it. Of course, with more roads they could accommodate more development, and that would be good because there would be more people to talk to. So, they'd build a city in ANWR. And that would bring pollution, crime, poverty, disease, and everything else they daydreamed about ANWR to escape from. In the end, they could then live in their newly-built squalor called ANWR, and daydream about being in the natural, pristine Grand Canyon...
