I not only think it, I am sure of it. Of course we hope for a basing agreement, but vindication of our position is paramount, and we will not remain in Iraq if the elected government asks us to leave.

You can take my words to mean whatever you want of course. However, the meanings you have derived are your own and have little baring on anything I said.

You are venturing down the hazy path of implication and innuendo. I prefer not to follow you.

However, I do have some questions.
1) What specific problem do you have with the establishment of the largest US Embassy being built in Iraq?

2) Why is it a problem for you that US military bases are being built in Iraq?

3) Upon what do you base your prophesy regarding Sadr et al... and our 'exit' strategy?

4) What do you mean by, wanting to 'control Iraq', since that seems to be your primary problem with our circumstances.
