Eliminate Al Qaeda and I think drunk driving becomes a more important national concern than Jihadists.

Have you considered that the supply of potential Jihadists is nearly infinite. If you destroy one organizing force of them, another one or more can spring up. I am not saying that we should not pursue them, we should very vigorously, but the roots are still there.

No. Regardless, if Al Qaeda is neutralized, I would bet that more people will be killed in the US each year by drunk drivers than by Jihaidist.
