Oil prices are catching the medias attention, but what happened today with NG prices is the other train firing up on this locomotive.

Just the same I raised some cash. Still hedged with 5% short BJS, long 70% and cash 20%.

The MMS data and the weather has fear in the mean streets around NYMEX's floor.

I am certain some shorts got smoked today. It may be an interesting earnings quarter for who ever got smoked.

maybe so. I remain fully invested. Will consider cutting back a little after the end of the month strength days are completed. That should take us through Friday at least.
ciao,

eplay, I have drawn precisely the opposite conclusion re: oil prices. I actually hope you are right, because that would help the world economy, but IMO the best indication of a temporary top would be a spike, on large volume. Putting one toe over the line appears to me to be indicating a continued slow progression forward.

Bought some TMXN, ATPG, NSS, calls on ERF, calls on CHK.

ATPG moving up, TMXN and NSS turned around and heading up.

Waiting for TMR to drop more, but this energy dip may be over wiht cold weather comming and realization that oil inventory is a blip.
