TigerPaw, You probably have forgotten the concept of allies, but we could have actually got help to clean up Al Qaeda once and for all. Allies said thanks but no thanks (beyond a token presence). While, as you demonstrated with your thinking unbound by reality, that you can can conceive of half million foreign troops in Afghanistan, it is just wishful thinking. Kerry, BTW, is peddling even more unbelievable fantasies of allied troops relieving US troops. Let me guess: you are supporting Kerry. Joe
