Ain't that the truth! Been there (with the negative results), Done that (with the exclusion BS).

You are lucky that you could still buy insurance with exclusions for non-existing conditions !

I have a friend who had an angiogram done 15 years ago, even thogh he had no heart disease symptoms.[ His cousin is a cardiac surgeon and was curious to see the results of this "new test" on his family members and he got the angiogram done at a nominal cost.] The result was a clean bill of heart health for my friend. Big mistake !!! A few years ago the friend left his job to be a consultant, and lo and behold he could not buy medical insurance at all on the open market. He was judged to be heart disease risk since a computer search of the medical history showed that an angiogram had been performed. So he had to go back to the job he does not like, so that he can get health insurance !
