So significant? It's the height of irony that Bush got in to avoid serving in Nam, but that now the same Guard force has been drafted to fight in Iraq.

Unfortunately, no one thought to bar Bush on the basis of his NG service. Lost opportunities! <g>

If Bush did get some sort of help to get in to the Guard what makes that so signifigant now?


Its symptomatic of the kind of person jr. is. Whenever he could he took the easy way out. And there was always someone to grease his way. He's a dilettante. Nothing wrong with that but I don't want someone like him in the presidency.
