Kerry is one of the senate's top experts on foreign policy, intelligence and military, also veterans affairs and the environment. Those are his three big areas of expertise and he knows every detail about those subjects. He is exactly what we need in other words. And no he was never "weak on defense". Especially over the past decade. The same cuts Bush's dishonest ads talk about were supported by dick Cheney himself. In fact Cheney bragged about making them at the time. Remember the "peace dividend"?
