There are very few people alive who remember fascism, less every year. It seems to be taking root here though, now. The vigilance has slipped, the memory hole ate the horror. The past may be repeated. I doubt we'll have ovens and gas showers this time. For a chilling read, try William Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich".
