Intelligent debate is welcome from anyone. I used to have a neighbor who argued from the Guardian's point of view. My news was more likely to originate from the Wall Street Journal. We agreed on almost nothing politically. He earned my respect many times over. I would like to think he respected my intelligence. We became friends.
