The Clintons got away with plenty. After all, Mrs. C. was not charged with any crime. The statement from the independent council said that they were not confident they could win a conviction against her.

Where did the Rose Law firm billing records come from? Where were they for the previous six years? Who is Chelsea's father? Why did the IRS never file against them for the income they failed to claim when the McDougals assumed their partnership debt? Why did Susan McDougal get a pardon? How many of the over fifty friends and acquaintances who have died mysteriously had dirt on the Clintons? How many of those deaths were the Clintons responsible for? Why were personnel records released on Katherine Willey?

They are smart cookies. When you have that many skeletons, it is hard to keep track of which one is in which closet.

It saddens me to think that police would lie. My family members who are attorneys relate that attorney's are all officers of the court. As such, they are duty bound to tell the truth in all matters of the court. This means they cannot lie about a case, testimony, etc. They also cannot lie to another officer of the court.

Because lawyers try to maintain an image of honesty, it was imperative after Bill Clinton had been proven to have lied that he be punished. Under the Constitution, the Senate was also required to do the same thing, but partisanship prevented the honorable dispatch of their duties.
