I guess user-definable would be good. Never heard any complaints about the previous method, though.

I really tried to get used to the new thing, but I have to double my clicks to get rid of people, get rid of threads. The old way got me in and out with the fewest clicks possible. Not that I don't like spending time with you guys, just fewer clicks. <g>

I see how this works as an alternative to using the "Reset" button when trying to square away your "Subject Marks"

BUT....I am still having trouble with "Peoplemarks" with the new system. Once I read all of the unread posts of a peoplemarked poster-- the old system was able to automatically clear that poster from my "need to read" list.

Currently I have to remember to go back and hit the Reset button.

Am I missing something?
