I've read that cigarettes are actually a very sophisticated nicotine delivery device. Smokers titrate their nicotine level very precisely by how quickly they smoke. And the "low tar" cigarettes that were also low nicotine reportedly caused many smokers to smoke them more quickly and more frequently. So certainly you could see an effect similar to what you are describing.

But if the effect of the vaccine is substantial it might make smoking a cigarette not rewarding at all. In any event it would certainly help as part of an overall program - generally a magic bullet is too much to hope for.

Anyhow I decided to exit my NABI position for now - figure I may re-enter later.
