That'll work on a Mac, too. In your browser prefs, there's a keyboard accessibility option to "tab only text fields" or "tab each item". In Mac IE, its in the Browser Display section of the prefs. It's also in the Mac Mozillas. Not sure about Safari. In IE, at least, you can option-tab to temporarily override whatever your current setting you have. I leave it on "text fields only" because it tabs through everything.. every image, every button, etc... Here at SI, that's not such a problem since the search box and the select list are next to each other. Try option-tab, Q, option-tab, enter first, before messing with the prefs.
