Baloney..... It was US blood and treasure that did the overwhelming majority of the fighting....it was US (and British) airmen who Saddam was continuing to shoot at on almost a daily basis...... The UN wimped out of its responsibility and discredited itself....the oil for food scandal provides the rationale.....it is NEVER illegal for the US to act in its own national security interest....with or without approval from any other country or body.... Kofi Annan is just another corrupt UN tinpot.
