I agree with your pro-commodity move as anti US dollar instruments. I do own some commodity based stocks, but am only holding core positions at the moment. I am holding foreign debt of countries that are commodity based economies. Have some Aussy, New Zealand and Canadian government bonds as well as FCO, FAX GIM and ESD. ESD is risky, but Brazil should get through this with the commodities they are shipping to south east Asia.
