Bush said last week "I am very pleased with the progress we are making in Iraq". That is a blatant lie intneded to deceive the American People. Iraq is a disaster and Bob Novak reports it is so bad that the White House is secretly debating whether or not to pull out US troops after the election and just let the Iraqis have the damn place.
That is how bad it is.
Of course I'm sure Bush will leave the oil-fields and president's HQ guarded. The rest of it, expendable now.

That is how bad it has gotten. Kerry can fix this though it wont be easy.
