If you know people in Iraq, where are they staying where they can feel at all secure? In the Green Zone maybe, in Kurdistan maybe. Otherwise every time you walk out the door you could be killed. And you know it.

Powell admitted last week the story in Iraq is grim. I think he's a guy we can all trust even though he was set up to lie about WMD's by the Cheney camp. Powell is not campaigning for Bush for a good reason, because he was used and abused, but what he does do is try to set the record straight now.

Iraq is a lost cause under Bush. Lost. That is a fact. Only a miracle from heaven would save Bush in Iraq now. But Kerry can at least give us a fresh start which would excite the world and give them new optimism to join in. Otherwise, all is lost and 200 billion and 1500 American lives (by that time) will be for nothing. In fact we will have made Al Qaida stronger, not wipe out terrorists.
