Well maybe you're right. Maybe he "lied". But I doubt it. Simple mistake like Bush saying "we are trying to do everything we can to harm the USA" or "we cannot win the war on terror". Probably a small gaffe. It happens.

On anything serious though, Kerry has never lied in his life. Check his record. It's perfect.

Compare to Bush telling the US that Saddam was an imminent threat with huge stockpiles of WMD's and we had to invade now without proper planning. Or saying last week that he is pleased with the way things are going in Iraq, just to fool people into not looking at the true picture, which is disasterous on his watch. Bush has lied every since day one. His entire coimpassionate conservative pitch in 2000 was a big lie including many smaller lies.

When it comes to honesty, Kerry is king and Bush a pauper.
