The ad is half-truth, just like the rest of the republican spin. It ignores facts like: 1. The bill passed and everyone knew it would pass. There were a number of people who voted against it as a statement. It would be different if the bill was defeated. Bottom line is the troops got the funding that was in the bill. 2. It was the lack of realistic planning by the Bush administration and their oppresive policies towards the people in Iraq that are a major reason for the rebellions a that are one thing putting our troops in danger.
