I believe they will, too... after the US election.

But it remains an open question as to whether resistance to the occupation will increase, or decrease as a result.

(And certainly while attacking Sunnis will be secretly applauded by Shia leaders, moving against the Iranian influences in Iraq's Shia community will not....)
