Those polls mean nothing. Nothing.
The election is not this week.

Dean led Kerry by 40% in New Hampshire in a poll not that far before the NH primary. Kerry beat him there by 20%.

William Weld led Kerry by 8% before the debates, the most popular governor in Massachusetts history. Kerry debated him and beat him soundly.

Kerry has his work cut out for him against the RNC propaganda machine, but the only polls that matter are ones about three weeks from now, and then of course the final one.

Pollsters have one thing wrong. They tell us most people have decided. That's false. I know Bushies who would switch. They just need convincing, and the key poll number is that 70% of people say even if Bush wins they want very different policies in a second term. Also about 55% think we are on the wrong track. And about 55% say Iraq was not worth it.

If Bush stumbles in the next 35 days, Kerry could win by as much as 10%. Or it could be the other way around. Nobody knows now. A lot of it is up to Kerry starting tomorrow night. This is playoff time. The season is almost over and doesn't matter anymore.
