when SI was attacked by that bong or DOS (denial of servivce) in early 1998, it set up three diversionary URLs. I see only one is included in your referenced thread.

Besides talk.techstocks.com , on the History thread I also found one oft used alternative: exchange2000.com . If you find any others, please post them.

Every old link used to have one of the base URLs (above, plus any others you find) followed by "/~wsapi/investor/" and then "Subject-XXXXX" or "reply-XXXXXX" and so on...

More than three, looks like; one example is in the post to which Brad replied:

Not sure is there is a way to find out how URLs like that existed at that time.
