k, a silly initial thought is why she shot that hole in your car?? but.. dang, the woman I bought my house from... she bought the house when she was newly divorsed and thought she'd fix it up, then married this guy... then he is calle up... just seeing that look in her eyes... that haunted look. And that is why they were selling the house. I got called a gouhl, but how did I know? It was the right house for what I wanted. I really hate it that she is worrying about him. That they sold the house they came to live in together because they couldn't afford it with him gone. That is poetry... that is a poet's job to me... to give voice to that sorrow and worry and change in life... and is it any different than what poeple in Iraq feel? and is what they feel not worse in the death and violence? the poet feels it all, and brings it together... and if the voice can be given well enough and heard... maybe we can get out of this mess? to me that is not politics... that is emotions, the same emotions we all feel... given voice and brought together. <ss> now that is some silly stuff, huh? ;)
