I believe that the numbers of African Americans Killed in Action to be a good reflection of who is in "harm's way". Unless you are trying to argue, that African Americans soldiers have found a way to be less likely to killed, by a bullet or artillery round, than their white counterparts.

Is there a greater percentage of African American men in the military than the general population? If so, not by much. Is there a greater percentage of African Americans in combat units, than the percentage of African Americans in the general population? Probably not. Is there a greater percentage of African Americans in the U.S. military than there are in the general population? Yes.

re:"You dont have to be killed to be in harm's way....If you can show me that the black % of the military is equal or less than that then maybe it isn't a point."
