Storage of spent full is the first step.
The concept of limiting liability, killing all the lawyers is the second required step before new Nuclear Plants can happen.

nuclear power has not been ignored.

50 bucks a barrel also makes for some great economics.

One reason is because that "actress" what'sherface Fonda, who appears with John Kerry in a questionable anti-Vietnam War rally and is honored as a supporter of North Vietnam in the Vietnam War Crimes Museum also appeared in a flick called "The China Syndrome" that misrepresented the nuclear power industry. And people who don't fully think out things but require people like her to do their thinking for them were convinced that nuclear power was bad and therefore we should ignore its potential.

Why have we ignored nuclear power to supplant most of our dependence on OPEC oil?
