Last night I saw a glimpse of the debate between Gov. Welds and John Kerry during the Mass. Senate race. Mr. Kerry was successful in turning around his position of opposition to the death penalty for terrorists, saying that "since most countrys do not support death penalty they would not extredite the terrorists to the U.S. which does have it. Therefore to bring terrorists to justice we must abolish the death penalty for the terrorists".

Another example of his position of appeasement - why should we change our laws to accomodate the appeasers? He has done it on countless occasions - from his support of the killers to Viet Nam to the Nuclear Freeze - in order to appease the repressive regimes. Now he implies that had he been in office Saddam Hussaine would still be in power.

On the other hand he is trying to pull the same stunt on President Bush on the issue of the draft. The Dems and Mr. Rather are conveniently forgetting that it is Congressman Rangle and Senator Harkin who are introducing the draft legislation. They are trying to pin this on the administration and the ignorant masses are falling for the scam.

Again - pathetic!
