Kerry is a war HERO and double hero for telling the harsh truth and helping to end that awful war. The rightwing is amazing, now calling Vietnam vets "baby-killers" and running on how great the Vietnam War was. I guess they see the close similarities to Iraq and it makes them nervous. Yes, Bush lied and failed in Iraq. He has us in a quagmire now. And he has no plan to get us out. That is serious stuff. Unlike Bush, Kerry is now afraid of combat, and knows wars are one with smarts not just pompous boasts and huge bombing runs.
