TH Detroit weather has really changed in the past ten years. We don't have too much hot and humid. At least nothing like I remember from when I was a kid.

I think your age and central air conditioning might something to do with your memories.

When I was a kid in NW Detroit we didn't have air conditioning or color t.v. until the late 60's.

Just a big noisy fan in the upstairs bedroom window and a 20" Sears T.V. without a remote!!!
