Why Kerry is on road to defeat

If there is one thing the voters know about John Kerry, it is that he said this: “I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it.” Big mistake, even if there is a certain convoluted logic behind it.

On Wednesday’s “Good Morning America,” Diane Sawyer quizzed the candidate about this now famous comment. Kerry’s explanation: “It just was a very inarticulate way of saying something, and I had one of those inarticulate moments late in the evening when I was dead tired in the primaries and I didn’t say something clearly.”

Almost as soon as those words left his mouth, the Bush campaign fired off an e-mail pointing out that Kerry had actually made the statement at noon, not late in the evening. The headline: “Maybe he was on Paris time.”

So is the reason Kerry will not signa form 180 because he received a general discharge or because he was courtmarshaled?
