Haim, I think getting rid of the Taliban was terrific and the fact that women are no longer chattel in the parts of the country we control is great. However, we are still occupying the country and your celebration is way too early. Does Bush have any kind of an exit strategy in Afghanistan? No. Will the Taliban take over five minutes after we withdraw? Yup. So, another country where we will be occupiers forever and, once again, we are allied with the world's most vicious drug suppliers to increase security on the ground. Talk about Vietnam all over again. The fact that Bush is repeating all of LBJ's mistakes may prove that there is something wrong with our drinking water here in Texas.

Of course, the entire point of invading the country was to cripple Al Qaida and get Osama. Al Qaida is larger and stronger than it's ever been thanks to our incentives for terrorists, and we didn't get Osama, who may actually be on the outs with his own organization. And we didn't get Osama because Bush failed when he diverted the military to Iraq.

BTW, Israel is still the #1 target of Islamic terrorists, not the USA.
