This is a mistatement by John Edwards:

SEN. JOHN EDWARDS (D-NC) (clip of a speech): "I'd say if you live in the United States of America and you vote for George Bush, you've lost your mind."

In fact many Bush supporters are very intelligent, you cannot simply write them off as having lost their minds. I believe that my assessment is closer to reality: Bush supporters either have no minds or have no conscience.
