I was regularly flamed for suggesting that Lucent was not worth a hundred dollars a share or that Yahoo and Amazon were overpriced. Maybe I just post now mostly on threads that seem to me to include the highest percentage of intelligent and well-informed contributors, but in any case I don't hear much of that mindless enthusiasm any more. At one point some of us were even being rebuked by SI administrators for inflaming others with our skepticism. I imagine you can still find unregenerate Dellheads, etc., on SI but I am not going to go looking for them.
