Bush is not likely to invade another country -- from now on it will be "just blow them up with airpower and let somebody else bury the dead". Could be Iran is next. Once we have established our will and ability to go anywhere, anytime to drop one bomb or a thousand as we see fit, we can get beyond the business of pretending to care about what happens to the countries we attack. We don't want to own everything we break -- better to break them from the air -- it gets less sticky. We can "spread democracy" one five hundred pound bomb at a time. democracy and nuclear weapons are not the only issues. The nuclear power plant under construction in Iran must also be destroyed, or there is the danger of terrorists getting possession of nuclear waste to create and deliver dirty bombs. The sooner Israel delivers the bunker busters to destroy the concrete reactor silo, the better. I see Russia is also stalling. They are contractors on building Iran's nuclear reactor, but I also suspect this is Russian foreign policy to thwart and diminish US power and influence in the middle east by aiding and abetting Iran to become a nuclear power. This is yet another reason why the nuclear facilities must be destroyed and very soon. Also, this pre emptive strike before the election and against a member of the axis of evil would ensure Kerry's defeat.
