"Bush told them to bring it on and the Arabs [insurgents] did"

So all arabs are insurgents, and not terrorists? Try again.

Seriously, this is getting silly. To whom was Bush speaking when he said "bring it on"? Wasn't he addressing the Iraqi [insurgents]? Do you get it now? I hope so. And do you know that Arab is capitalized?

"I omitted the word 'insurgents' because it was implied and I thought understood by all."

But I pointed out that one of the most hard core leftists on the thread (dougr) called me a racist thinking I said what you said. When you clearly state that Bush told the Arabs to bring it on when you know he was referring to a very small percentage of Arabs, and NEVER used that word it just shows the dishonesty inherent in your position. When you need to be dishonest to make a point, the point is probably wrong. It is an easy test to apply, and you should give it a try.

It does not show the dishonesty in my position but rather it shows your desperate attempts to tar me with the same brush as you. Sorry but it ain't working.

"From where I come that's a common practice in English"

Where do you come from? I have never heard of an area where it is common to substitute Arab for terrorist or for insurgent.

Where did I make such a substitution? Are you really this uninformed?
