The news from Galore Creek a couple of days ago couldn't be much better in my opinion. Fidelity sold a bunch last week, and maybe at it again? that doesn't help, and I would guess some profit taking because of the steep recent rise.

I phoned the office yesterday, almost everyone is in Denver, the guy who is in charge of Galore development spoke to me but could not offer any explanation to the selling. I also note that PDG is firming up the big copper deal in Chile with Bema & Arizona Star, and wonder if that takes away from Donlin and Galore, as Placer has to come up with 1.3 billion in financing for the Chile copper project.

I expect many news releases to come from NG as they are drilling a lot of holes this year, and have not disappointed yet.

Yes, Galore Creek may one day prove to be bigger for them than Donlin Creek. My biggest holding used to be Spectrum Gold and if it had not been bought out, my guess is that it would be trading for much more than NovaGold bought the remaining shares for this summer. NovaGold's managers are pretty smart and work harder than any other gold company management I've seen.
