I have been wondering about that very question myself. I have decided that the best way to decide when to get off the train is to look at the internet bubble. Take a look at the performance of the Nasdaq coming into the year 2000. I trust that the mass psychology of crowds operates similarly when going into the peak, greed overcomes fear, as well as when the bubble bursts and fear overcomes greed. So, I don't have any current observations on this matter but will post as the pattern develops.
