Pres Bush did a great job tonight in the debate. He looked at Kerry and said "as Pres you cannot wilt under pressure." When Kerry stated that the Bush Adm cut funding for fire fighters & police, Pres Bush corrected him with "my adm has increased funding by $3.1B for the first responders and tripled expenditure for homeland security." Kerry's worst gaffe was saying U.S. actions should pass "the global test." When questioned about his plan for troop withdrawal from Iraq he muttered his lame "help is on the way" slogan. Pres Bush reminded everyone that Kerry voted against funding body armor for troops in Iraq after the latter criticized Bush as having neglected that particular issue. Bush presented an unwavering & reassuring attitude during the debate.
