Fortunately, most people in Europe did not want to live in a well-run country under an army of occupation. We helped to free Europe from foreign domination -- it was truly a great war if there ever was one. It would not have mattered to me at all if the Germans were better at running things in the rest of Europe -- I would have fought to force the Germans out. That is what America did.
