These things take time. No one changed their mind about Gore on the night of the debate, but over the next few days, the sighs became fatal. The quesion is will Bush's "fatigue" become fatal. Gergen did not say that Bush lost but he more or oless admitted it. Said that Kerry did what he had to do while Bush kinda held his own and that it was a race again. If it is a race again, then Bush list, IMHO

Yeah, R.D., I did leave that out, but our electorate is a pretty fickle bunch and perceptions can mean a great deal. I think the "perception" of Kerry as a candidate got a major upgrade tonight and I think we may see some shifting in the "who will you vote for" numbers as a result.

I ALWAYS thought it was the "wrong war at the wrong time" so hearing Kerry articulate that position sounds pretty good to me.
