I agree the the President looked a bit tired. I'm not sure if tired is the right word to use, maybe weary of the process with this sort of, "C'mon we've been over this a hundred times" demeanor.

Kerry on the other hand came across as more fired up about the debate and glad he had a chance to talk foreign policy. He was definitely well coached. He did appear awkward when Bush linked the 87 billion dollars appropriations bill he voted against to supporting the troops.

You're right, what a tough job. Your damned if you do and damned if you don't. There is no job more criticized by more people than being President.

If he is being coached to do that, they're not doing him any favors. It's very distracting.
