Are you insane? Did you believe Saddam's information ministry's claims too? Not a single smearvets claim was true and they are now an embarrassment to Bush that is going to hurt him going forward. It was nothing but a sleazy smear campaign of utter lies, similar to what they diud against McCain in 2000 but bigger and more heavily financed. Every single smearvets claim has been debunked by men closer to the action, the Navy and even by the accusers themselves who contradict their past statements just because it's election time, and perhaps money exchanged hands. Kerry was a real hero and was right to fight during and after the war for the good old USA. The Vietnam War was our darkest moment. By 1971, anyone who wanted it over and was willing to fight for that should be called a hero. Kery saved US soldiers lives both on and off the battlefield.
