right wing blather is not tolerated. I see a lot of liberal and left wing blather which is tolerated. I don't question your right to allow left-wing blather while censoring right wing blather. As a thread head, this is your prerogative which I do not question. However, you are no doubt aware that healthy discussions are not those between like-thinking individuals but between those who hold different points of view. A conversation between automatons is boring and unproductive. You will note that Lindy Bill absolutely does not ban for political opinions but only for bad manners. As you put it, you specifically reserve the right to censor on account of opinions, something I disagree with on principle. Enjoy your forum.

I don't mind being told how bad I am or that my opinion is wrong as long as there is evidence that counters what I am posting. However, I think name calling is demeaning. I would rather we attempt to act as adults... and work our way through difficulties by challenges to our thinking. I think referring to CBS commentators as senile is insulting. I don't know how old some of us who past here now but there are countries that have respect for the elderly. DAN RATHER is being subjected to criticisms for his recent faux pax.HOwever, he has been a stalwart and wonderful journalist who in my life time I have seen do a lot more than some of you posting here will ever do. CUT out the insults. First rule. DON"T NAME CALL.
