Saddam to Declare Candidacy for Iraqi Elections

Overthrown Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who was arrested by US forces last December, reportedly plans to run as a candidate in the Iraqi elections scheduled for January 2005.

Saddam's lawyer Giovanni di Stefano told Denmark's B.T. newspaper that Saddam decided during one of their discussions that he would declare his candidacy for the elections.

Stefano said that there was no law that prevented Saddam from appearing on the ballot. He added that Saddam hopes to regain his presidency and palaces via the democratic process.

Contrary to the statements of Iraqi Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, Stefano claims, "Saddam has no chance to be tried before the elections. Moreover, no international law prevents him from coming forward."

Saddam's lawyer defends that the ambiguity in Iraq will favor Saddam at the polls. Stefano remarked that a recent Gallup poll indicates that 42 percent of the Iraqi people want their former leader back.

Meanwhile, evaluating the conditions of Saddam in jail, Allawi said that Saddam had asked him for mercy.

dumbass, first of all answer my question. Did OJ kill his X wife and Ron Goldman? yes or no will do, unless you feel like you are at risk of to much personal exposure by answering.

Unlike yourself, I don't let others tell me how to think. For example..... I think bush clearly won the debate last night. I see the media is claiming victory for Kerry and I see all the neocons bowing to that call. That is letting somene else tell you how to think and you in particular are very good at letting that happen.

Bush gave positive statements about harken to the news media. Then liquidated his shares, Harken went bankrups within two weeks. Bush knew Harken was going under. Can't happen any other way. So he sold his shares on that information and before that information was released to the public..

Classic insider trading. Just because Bush wasn't prosecuted for insider trading doesn't mean he didn't do it. A guy like you might hide behind not being prosecuted for what he did, but but we both know it happened. It doesn't bother me, not sure why it bothers you so much you lie about it.

Now answer my question. Unless ofcourse, you feel like you risk to much exposure. Did OJ kill Nicole and Ron??
